Awenghimawan, played guitar since he was 12 years old, supported by the background of his two brothers who are also musicians. Born in Bandar Lampung, November 1st, 1989. Formed a band called ‘MRNMRS’ which produced 1 Mini Album in his hometown, Bandar Lampung. In 2013, Aweng decided to move to Bali to continue his journey in music. He formed a band in Bali (2014) ‘Dice’ which performed music with nuances of soul reggae funk fusion, and in 2016 He formed and started the journey of the band ‘The Munchies’ with Joe.
Apart from fans, ‘The Beatles’ was the first influence in his music; there were also several big names in blues, folk, jazz, reggae, garage and indie rock music genres. Such as; John Butler, The Strokes became his musical influence.
Aweng never thought about becoming a Banjo player, began by helping his friend (Marco) buy and learn this instrument, and he became great at playing the Banjo. Currently, he is known as one of the Banjo players in Bali/Indonesia.
